This loop trail takes you to the Risco Waterfall from the top. Some sections are easy, but others are quite challenging and require extra care – especially near the waterfall edge. The views are absolutely beautiful and worth the effort.
We also tried the walk from the bottom of the waterfall, and I would highly recommend doing both to fully enjoy this place.
Our routine was to do these levada hikes in the morning, leaving the afternoons free to relax and visit other attractions.
