Wadi Sidaqah to Difan Village Loop Fujairah with Shan

  Hi Patrick,
  I am in need of your assistance once again, as I may go to Sidaqa soon. I was wondering if I could do this trail on reverse direction, as I noticed a steep descent on way back (2nd half) of hike, and we wanted to climb it rather than go down - let me know if this is doable/practical.
  Also I noticed in almost all Sidaqa postings about the usage of ropes in some sections (such as vertical wall near pool). Is this absolutely necessary?, considering we are decent climbers (but have never used ropes before, or never been to a hike where ropes were required). And how will it impact if we go reverse?, assuming we will be mostly bouldering on downward direction.

  Hi Mayur,
  In this trail, in the ascent part from 2 kms to 5.5 kms section, it is massive bouldering, climbing and polished boulders climbing where 1 person needs to go first and install a rope.
  I personally wouldnt like to do this trail again for many factors including rope business.
  You could do this trail in reverse BUT only until the village or continue exploring further up after the village BUT not into the wadi Sidaqa section.
  This Wadi section is very dangerous to do in reverse, please do not attempt it.
  This trail in its complete loop should be tried ONLY with an experienced Climber with lots of experience in polished boulders climbing and Rope access skills.
