Thames Path between Tower Bridge and Vauxhall Bridge.
Two quick notes: Despite being a linear trail, the logistics are very easy. You can start and stop the trail at any time, and you will always find public transportation around. After all, you are always in London, although sometimes you may doubt it.
The terrain is mostly flat losing height from Camden to the Limehouse Basin. The 500 + m are simply an error of the GPS that deals poorly with flat trails.
