Strenuous combination of trails at 3Rivers. Definitely not for the beginner or unfit.
Start at the kitchen and towards Spring Valley which starts at the 5km mark. Climb up Spring Valley, down the Devils Staircase and then up the Trig Beacon trail. You will do about 520m elevation at this point which is 8,5km in. Then on to the bench on the Oxwagon trail, to Room with a view and down back to the kitchen.
Strava showed 999m elevation which is probably more accurate.
