Sipi waterfalls 1 & 2 leaving from Sipi River Lodge.
We did the hike without a guide, just following the wikiloc from another member and it was easy to follow. On the way, we encountered several locals who insisted on being our guides, but we politely refused.
Good hiking shoes with proper grip are recommended as the paths are sometimes narrow and muddy. We went through several plantations of coffee trees, bananas, cabbage, onion, beans & potatoes and it was lovely to see such green plantations.
Sometimes we went through people’s gardens, and they were very happy to see us and show us the way.
Totally recommend the experience.
