This route explores the monumental rocky ridge of The Roaches. Its name comes from the French 'les roches' –the rocks. The ridge with its rock formations rises steeply to 505m!
We start off from below the ridge, heading north towards the lovely river Dane. Then we climb onto the top of the ridge while heading back south. We pass by the highest point of the ridge –The Roaches. And further south we descend back to the starting point.
