PARKING:
You can either park in the layby ( photos 1 & 2) or in the municipality council offices car park. ( There is only ever 2 to 3 cars in there)
We started the walk from home.
An amazing trail, It's great Wikiloc have added a " Trail planner" so this is one I mapped out after we did a similar trail, but I have added the Monastery to cut out a lot of walking on the road and the same with the journey back, not so much tarmac.
Mainly gravel, concrete or tractor tracks, plenty of watering holes and picking up provisions either at the monastery,Tala cafe, where we stopped for a light lunch, or the kiosk and fruitarea on the B7,
We picked the perfect day, highs of 20° with periods of cloud cover and wind. There is quite a bit of shade on this trail depending what time of day you set out.
Just one tricky part heading down a narrow gravel path to the monastery, so please take extra care.
