Mynydd Carningli is the 337 metre high eminance above Newport town.
The walk follows the streets from Newport Parrog Harbour and Campsite to the open moorland and then follows tracks to the summit.
The walk then follows tracks and crosses open moorland before descending to the coast about 2.5 miles west of Newport. The return route then follows the coast path back to Newport Parrog.
