行程描述

I started hiking early in the morning because i wanted to have most of the uphill hike in the coolness of the morning.

It was a semi cloudy day and still 6 liters of water didn’t seem to be enough.
There is no water source on the way so make sure to take enough water that you think you’ll need. No pess than 6 liters in all cases.

Technical DIFFICULTY: Easy. The trail is very well marked, and doesn’t require any form of technical skills.

Physical DIFFICULTY: i would say difficult.
You need to be in very good shape and used to this type of endurance otherwise this will be impossible for you.
If you feel like you cannot continue there is multiple trails along the way that could take you down to the nearest town!

Pack sunscreen and hiking sticks.
There isn’t shade is almost all the hike.
And most of the hike is in unstable rocks.
I would strongly recommend you bring your hiking sticks for balance!

Other than that, i would definitely recommend you do this hike.
Its going to be very long but also one of the most memorable hikes you’ll do in your life!

Just a stop to admire the view

Amazing viewpoint over the fjord!

Up to here the trail is following the mountain in a serpentine way. Very easy although a little too long for my tast. In multiple points I didn’t follow the serpentine way because i felt i was walking more and not gaining much altitude.

I followed signs for Krstac because i wanted to walk as little as possible on a drive way.

If you want the easier way up choose the trail on the right, meaningn follow signs for žanjev do!

Connection to the driveway

The deviation i took on the previous waypoint, when crossing the river, the signs and trails were a little confusing. No worries, you will find your way back as soon as you cross the river. No danger, just annoying

Exit the main driveway

This is where you take a detour to continue along the fjord.

Detour for a viewpoint

I am taking a detour because i want to see the pestinggrad viewpoint. Will come back to this poin again after being done!

Insane views over the fiord

The signs say its an 1:30 hours hike to the viewpoint from the drive road. I did it in 30 mins! Dont be fooled by the sign! Definitely take the detour. Best view so far
