I started the Golan trail as high as I got up Mount Hermon. I also didn't follow the exact route of the Golan Trail because I saw some interesting routes that I wanted to try out. Especially in the first section the sideway I followed was nice and more challenging too. In section 2 I tried to find some other routes but they didn't work out so if you want to follow my route you can skip the small loops you see once in a while. The trails are not that difficult and nature is beautiful. I hope you have fun! enjoy.
