The southeastern flank of Dilijan valley is dominated by three 2.500m+ peaks – Yeghjervasar, Lesser Maymekh and Greater Maymekh - which can be climbed during a one-day hike starting at the town of Dilijan. Out of these three Yeghjervasar is the most accessible one offering as much of a stunning circular views of surrounding countryside as the other two.
In case of bad weather there’s no place to hide except for a shepherds’ settlement nestled halfway up the massif.
(There's no photos of the summit due to the heavy fog)

Good trail! One part is closed off for nature restoration now, so you need to get around it or climb the fence
(I marked it). But very interesting yet demanding route.
The part of this trail that's closed can be crossed in less than 10 minutes if you climb the fence :) Stunning views from the top, it was quite a demanding route. Note the total time of about 7 hours is for going up and down again, note just up!
