Day 1 of the Mestia to Ushguli trek via Tsvirmi Village. Stunning route with fantastic views of the mountains and wildflowers along the Zuruldi Ridge. The first bit is along a road and is a bit dull. I would suggest taking a taxi or hitchhiking from Mestia to Heshkili Huts, or if you’re there in season, you could take the Hatsvali cable car and begin the hike there to save time. Other than the long, first bit, the views are stunning! A hike to remember!
