If you didn't win a Half Dome permit - try to hike Clouds Rest instead :)
Very strenuous and technical long hike from the Yosemite Valley floor all the way to the Clouds Rest summit.
Please consider that it is generally 3-4 miles longer than Half Dome hike with more elevation gain, so the whole roundtrip will take at least 12 hours or more
Water treatment system is a must, some sort of sport nutrition (energy gels or chews) is highly recommended
(GPS track has some spikes due to reception problems when trail goes along the high rocks and in the deep canyons)
