Easy walk. Paths not always well signposted towards the Castle so make sure your phone is well charged. We’ll sign posted & busier path from the Castle to Aysgarth Falls.
Castle Bolton is where Richard III was born. Mary Queen of Scots was held prisoner here for a brief period.
Nb. The Cafe wasn’t open at the Castle when we did this walk. There wasn’t anywhere to buy drinks en route. Only at the beginning & end.
