در منطقه تماشایی ارسباران و در ارتفاعات کوهستانی آذربایجان شرقی، یکی از دژهای تاریخی ایرانی واقع شده است. قلعه بابک، مقر یکی از سربازان دلاور ایرانی به‌نام «بابک خرمدین» بوده است که در منقطه بلند کوهستانی شهرستان کلیبر، در آغوش ابر و مه جا خوش کرده است. موقعیت جغرافیایی قلعه بابک سبب شده است تا رفتن به این بنای رازآلود علاوه بر ماجراجویی در جاذبه تاریخی، یک نوع طبیعت‌گردی کوهستانی نیز محسوب شود.
بابک خرمدین از مبارزان شجاع ایرانی بوده که بیش از 20 سال از عمر وی به نبرد با خلفای عباسی گذشته است. مقاومت در برابر ظلم‌های این قوم از اعراب و حمایت ایرانیان از اهداف این سرباز شجاع ایرانی بوده و در نهایت جان خود را در راه این مبارزه از دست داده است. قلعه بابک که با نام «دژ جمهور» و «قلعه بذ» در فهرست جاهای دیدنی تبریز ثبت شده است، مقر بابک خرمدین و همراهان وی بوده است. اکنون بقایای این سازه تاریخی در ارتفاعات کوه‌های منطقه مرزی ارسباران، در همسایگی ابرها و در مجاورت دره‌های عمیق کوهستانی جا خوش کرده و در فهرست آثار ملی ایران ثبت شده است. گفته می‌شود که قدمت ساخت اولیه قلعه به زمان ساسانی و اشکانی گره خورده است و نوع معماری و آثار کشف شده در مجموعه، این تخمین زمانی را تایید می‌کند. این جاذبه تاریخی برای عاشقان طبیعت و کوهنوردی فرصتی طلایی محسوب می‌شود و می‌توانند علاوه بر ماجراجویی در تاریخ مبارزه‌های بابک خرمدین، یک کوهنوردی ناب

قلعه بابک کجاست؟

قلعه بابک در شهرستان کلیبر، استان آذربایجان شرقی و در محدوده سبز جنگل ارسباران واقع شده است. در حدود ۱۴ کیلومتری شمال شرقی قلعه، شهر کلیبر با دسترسی بسیار خوبی جا خوش کرده و این شهر نقطه شروع سفر ماجراجویانه به قلعه بابک است. تبریز در جنوب غربی دژ بابک با فاصله‌ای نزدیک به ۲۰۰ کیلومتر و اهر در جنوب آن با فاصله ۷۵ کیلومتر واقع شده است. تبریز و اهر از شهرهای گردشگری مهم در آذربایجان شرقی هستند که مسافران بسیاری به سمت کلیبر و قلعه بابک دارند. جاده تبریز – اهر و جاده اهر – کلیبر، مسیرهای دسترسی به کلیبر از این دو شهر است. مسیر کلیبر به قلعه با یک جاده آسفالته با نام جاده قلعه بابک شروع می‌شود و در نهایت باید با پای پیاده باقی مسیر را ادامه دهید/

نشانه‌های معماری و ویژگی‌های ساخت قلعه بابک، حکایت از دوران ساخت آن در دوران اشکانی و ساسانی و مرمت آن در دوره‌های تاریخی بعد دارد.
ورود به قلعه بابک هرگز آسان نبوده است؛ زیرا دروازه اصلی تنها راه ورود به این قلعه است و تمام درزهای ورود مخفیانه با مصالح پر شده است. بنابراین تمام رفت‌وآمدها زیر نظر دیده‌بان‌ها ممکن بوده و افرادی که قصد ورود به قلعه را داشتند، بعد از پشت سر گذاشتن گذرگاهی طولانی و باریک که تنها یک نفر امکان عبور از آن را دارد، می‌توانستند به دروازه اصلی نزدیک شوند. این فاصله طولانی خود عاملی برای افزایش امنیت قلعه بابک و دست‌یابی به زمان لازم برای آگاهی دیده‌بانان بوده است.

قلعه بابک از نظر ویژگی‌های معماری :
سنگ، ملات ساروج، آجر و چوب از مصالح استفاده شده در ساخت و تعمیر قلعه بابک بوده است. در طراحی این قلعه، قصر اصلی بعد از ورودی واقع شده و داخل آن تالاری وجود دارد که اطرافش را هفت اتاق پوشانده‌اند. همچنین در شرق ساختمان قصر، بخش آب‌انبار واقع شده و داخل آن با ملات ساروج پوشیده شده است تا باران و برف زمستانی که در آن ذخیره شده است، به بیرون نفوذ نکند. ساخت آب‌انبار، راهکاری برای تحمل روزهای گرم تابستان و دسترسی به آب برای مواقع احتمالی محاصره قلعه بوده است. ویرانه‌هایی که در سمت شمال غربی بنا واقع شده، در زمان خود، پلکانی برای دسترسی به بخش‌های بالاتر قلعه بوده است. زندان، اصطبل و اتاق‌هایی در بخش شرقی، از دیگر قسمت‌های این بنا است

طبیعت‌گردی و کوه‌نوردی به قصد ماجراجویی در قلعه خرمدین

راهی شدن در مسیر منتهی به قلعه بابک، به دلیل قرار گرفتن این قلعه به‌روی قله‌ای بلند در منطقه کوهستانی و سرسبز، نوعی کوهنوردی و طبیعت‌گردی محسوب می‌شود. در واقع جذابیت این مجموعه با چشم‌انداز بی‌نظیرش کامل می‌شود. سرسبزی جنگل ارسباران به این منطقه نیز سرایت کرده است. این جنگل مرزی تقریبا از این نقطه از کوهستان شروع می‌شود. تماشای سرزمین‌های سبز منطقه ارسباران از ارتفاعات کوهستانی، شما را به وجد می‌آورد و پیش از رسیدن به قلعه تاریخی، می‌توانید طبیعت‌گردی و کوهنوردی را تجربه کنید

چه فصلی از سال سراغ قلعه بابک برویم؟

یکی از تماشایی‌ترین چهره‌های این قلعه تاریخی و منطقه ارسباران را می‌توانید در بهار ببینید. به‌خصوص اگر روزهای سفرتان در بازه اواخر فروردین تا اوایل خرداد باشد. در واقع بهشت منطقه ارسباران در اردیبهشت خودنمایی می‌کند. شهریور تا اواسط مهر نیز زمان مناسبی برای سفر به دژ بابک و مناطق سبز ارسباران است. در این ماه‌ها، گرمای سوزان تابستان در سینه‌کش کوه کم شده و هنوز سرمای پاییزی در کوهستان شدت نگرفته است. سفر به این منطقه کوهستانی در دیگر ماه‎‌های پاییز و فصل زمستان غیرممکن است /

مسیر دسترسی به قلعه بابک خرمدین
برای رسیدن به قلعه بابک سه مسیر مختلف وجود دارد و هرکدام از این مسیرها جذابیت و منحصربه‌فرد خودش را از منظر طبیعت‌گردی دارند
مسیر اول که نسبت به بقیه سخت‌تر است، پیاده‌روی آن از « قلعه دره سی» با فاصله ۷ کیلومتری از شهر کلیبر شروع می‌شود.(همین تراک)
بعد از روستای «شجاع آباد»، نقطه آغاز پیاده‌روی پلکانی ، مسیر دوم است و این راه از مسیرهای متداول در بین گرشگران است. بیش از هزار پله سنگی در ادامه این راه انتظارتان را می‌کشد. در نهایت مسیر سوم از محل کمپ عشایر آغاز می‌شود. برای رسیدن به این نقطه بعد از راندن در جاده قلعه و رسیدن به دوراهی آفرودیت که در تراک مشخص کردم باید وارد مسیر فرعی در سمت چپ بطول 3 کیلومتر (پاترول کرایه هم موجود است) در پیش است. پیاده‌روی از این نقطه تا پلکان قلعه نسبت به بقیه مسیرها کوتاه‌تر است و کلا 2 کیلومتر با شیب ملایم و پلکان /بنابراین در مسیر سوم می‌توانید بیشتر راه را با اتومبیل طی کنید و پیاده‌روی کمتری داشته باشید. مزیت دیگر این مسیر تماشای زندگی عشایری در دامنه‌های کوه است
در نهایت هر دو مسیر ییلاقات و پلکان با هم یکی شده و بسمت قلعه میرود /
۱-مسیر اول رفت و برگشت 7 کیلومتر با 740 متر افزایش ارتفاع /استارت 1650 متر از دریا/و قسمت قبل از قلعه شیب تند البته پاکوب مشخص/،جنگل و دره و بیشتر در کنار نهر آب و سایه درختان /
۲-مسیر پلکان رفت و برگشت حدود 7 کیلومتر با شیب ملایم و 570 متر افزایش ارتفاع/ استارت 1800متر ارتفاع از دریا/
۳-مسیر ییلاقات که رفت و برگشت 4 کیلومتر و افزایش ارتفاع 230 متری (کمترین ) و استارت 2150متر از دریا / 3کیلوومتر جاده آفرودیت و راحت ترین مسیر جهت افراد مبتدی و کودکان/

شرح سفر:
عصر جمعه از مسیر زیبای جلفا، مرز ارس بسمت آسیاب خرابه و قلعه عباس میرزا و سواحل زیبای رود ارس تا دریاچه سد خدا آفرین و شهر جانانلو و سپس کلیبر زیبا طی کردیم و جهت بررسی مسیرهای متداول قلعه ،ابتدا وارد جاده قلعه که از شهر کلیبر شروع شد ،رفته و ابتدا به سه راهی جاده جنگلی رسیدیم و از چپ بسمت محل استارت مسیر پلکانی در جوار روستای شجاع رفته و با ادامه آسفالت به فرعی خاکی مسیر ییلاقات رسیدیم که با ویتارا تا انتهای مسیر آفرودیت رفته و با پاکوب سنگی بسمت قلعه رفتیم و تا نزدیکی محل تلاقی مسیر پلکانی بالا رفته و به تماشای زیباییها و گاو و گوسفندان در حال چرا در مراتع سر سبز و زیبا ( در این موقع از سال !!!) پرداختیم و برگشته از عشایر پنیر و ماست و نان محلی تهیه کردیم. شب در مسیر نزدیک قلعه دره سی در یک کمپ کانتینری بیتوته کرده و صبح زود از مسیر جنگل قلعه دره سی صعود کردیم با استراحت 3 ساعت /
و ظهر‌ به پارکینگ رسیدیم
ابتدای مسیر گاها پاکوب ها بیش از یکی هست که البته مسیر برگشت در این تراک مناسب تر هست و دقت کنید از اواسط مسیر بسمت مسیر سمت راست صعود کنید/

Where is Babak Castle?

Babak Castle is located in Kalibar city, East Azarbaijan province and in the green area of ​​Arsbaran forest. Babak Castle in terms of architectural features:
Stone, mortar, brick and wood were the materials used in the construction and repair of Babak Castle. In the design of this castle, the main palace is located after the entrance and inside there is a hall surrounded by seven rooms. Also, in the east of the palace building, the reservoir section is located and its interior is covered with Saroj mortar so that the winter rain and snow stored in it does not penetrate outside. The construction of the reservoir was a solution to withstand the hot summer days and access to water in case of siege of the castle. The ruins located on the northwest side of the building were once a staircase to access the higher parts of the castle. What season of the year should we go to Babak Castle?

You can see one of the most spectacular faces of this historical castle and Arsbaran region in spring. Especially if your travel dates are between late April and early June. In fact, the paradise of Arsbaran region shows itself in April. September to mid-Mehr is also a good time to travel to Babak Fortress and the green areas of Arsbaran. In these months, the scorching heat of summer has subsided in the chest of the mountain, and the autumn cold has not yet intensified in the mountains. Access route to Babak Khorramdin Castle
There are three different routes to reach Babak Castle, and each of these routes has its own charm and uniqueness from the point of view of nature tourism.
The first route, which is more difficult than the others, starts from "Dare Si Castle" at a distance of 7 kilometers from the city of Kalibar. (The same track)
After the village of "Shuja Abad", the starting point of the stair walk is the second path, and this path is one of the most common paths among hikers. More than a thousand stone steps are waiting for you along the way. Finally, the third route starts from the nomad camp. To reach this point, after driving on the castle road and reaching the Aphrodite intersection that I specified in the track, you have to enter the side road on the left for 3 kilometers (rental patrol is also available). The walk from this point to the stairs of the castle is shorter than the rest of the routes and it is 2 kilometers with a gentle slope and stairs/so in the third route you can travel most of the way by car and walk less.
